Ralph R. Longo IV is a Miami-based attorney whose practice spans litigation and transactional matters, with a focus on real estate transactions, complex business disputes, corporate structuring, and construction-related litigation. He has handled over half a billion dollars in real estate transactions, including commercial, residential, and industrial sales, purchases, and leases, and has litigated cases in both state and federal courts across the United States, obtaining multiple multi-million dollar judgments for his clients. Prior to his current practice, Mr. Longo gained extensive litigation experience in mass torts and complex products liability at one of the country’s preeminent mass tort firms.
Mr. Longo also advises clients on cryptocurrency matters, including compliance with state and federal securities laws, disputes with cryptocurrency exchanges, Initial Coin Offerings, and offshore corporate formation and structuring.
Mr. Longo has twice been named a Super Lawyers Rising Star, a distinction awarded to no more than 2.5% of attorneys in each state, recognizing outstanding lawyers 40 or under through a rigorous peer nomination and evaluation process.
He received his B.S. in Finance from the University of Connecticut School of Business, where he also worked as a featured columnist for a major online sports publication. He earned his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law on a Dean’s Merit Scholarship and completed the UM Litigation Skills Program. While in law school, he won the 2014 USIBA Collegiate Boxing Light Heavyweight National Championship.
Mr. Longo is admitted to the Florida Bar and licensed in the Southern District of Florida. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Dade County Bar Association, and the National Italian American Bar Association.
